PCM
I recently found the OBD light on and got to my local repair shop. My guy said the code reported was P0601.....internal comm error. He said he cleared it and did my oil change and some other stuff and the third time he started the car the light came back on. He said I need to get to the dealer to replace the PCM.....should have 8 year/80,000 warranty. Is this correct as far as the warranty?
I have an 02 Touring edition with 49,500. MPG has never been better than 16 to 17. Anyone have any experience with PNM warranty issues and improving MPG???[8]

There is no repair for the p0601... If all the powers and grounds checked good, it will need a PCM.
