Default Air Intakes for 2006

What is the right air intake for a 2006 non turbo ?
seems that the oem air box is smaller in the 2006 and there is no silencer inside.

You have that right, at MB6 I looked all over for a AiRaid filter or even a K&N drop in, nothing is available yet. I had contacted AiRaid by phone and they were not aware of any change to the air box, said they would get R%D on it right away, of course, that was in August when I found out that the one I took from my '02 wouldn't fit.[xx(]

For the '06 owners, we have to wait until the aftermarket gets geared up with products for our cars. I figure in about 6 months they will have chrome spears etc for them.

Contacted both Air Raid and K&N, they both say they have no plans on making Intake Air Filters at this time.[xx(][xx(]

I am checking to see if a cone filter will work on the '06's. They can't be THAT different from the earlier models.
