I would like to add some additional gauges to my Cruiser. Some that actually show what's goin on in my engine. Can I add-on gauges that will work in addition to the factory ones? Or, do I need to replace them completely and if so, will I get the "Check Engine" lite? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

You can add gauges to the car with no problems. Autometer makes a pillar pod set up the puts them out of the way, and still looks great installed. The gauges can be hooked up with no modifications to your factory gauges. You can see an example of what I am talking about in the Interior section of http://www.raceandstreet.com

Thanks for the help. So I take it the PT uses Electric as opposed to Mechanical gauges? Also, the site you gave seems to have issues at the moment....can't seem to navigate real good.
Thanks! |
