Default Tachometer Idle Speed???

Hello everyone, after installing my Indiglow gauges I had to re-install my needles. I was wondering what is the regular idle for your PT Cruisers when it's in park or nutral. I set mine between 0-1,000 RPM's. So it's idleing at 500 you could say. I think it should be pulled off and reset to idle at 1,000 RPM's. Does that sound about right? Keep in mind I have a modified 5 speed with a Supercharger. So anyone with a turbo is welcome to reply also.[:I]

I had an '02, and now have an '05 turbo Lite - in both idle when warm is 700-750 RPM - a bit more when first started in winter or with A/C on.

When warm, mine sits at 750. Scared myself for a second. Went to the gargae to start the car to see the idle speed and was watching the middle dial (speedometer) instead of the tach. Car started and needle didn't move [:I], then realized I was looking at the wrong dial. [xx(] That's what happens when you drive 3 different cars all the time...you should see when I try and put the side windows down..I'm reaching all over the place until I find the right buttons.
