So in other words, unless you really think you need it, its not worth it. [:I]

So, based on the replies, this is how I see the breakdown:

Plastic Turbo Intake on Turbo car = 8-10 HP increase due to better airflow distribution and plastic intake stays cooler.

Metal Turbo Intake on N/A PT = some HP increase, may not be noticable. Hard to install on N/A.

Plastic Turbo Intake on N/A PT = More HP increase, but still may not be noticable, due the the fact that N/A already has a plastic manifold. Air flow distribution amount on N/A is still in debate. Install is still difficult.

If you add the Plastic Turbo Intake on an N/A, please let us know the results and keep us posted. I'd like to know whether this mod is worth the effort.

You got it.
I just want to add a coupla things...
The metal intakes can be picked up cheaply from those turbo guys who've swapped to plastic.
With the metal turbo intake, you don't have to remove anything to replace plugs & wires!

all that work for 8-10 more horsepower ?? is it really worth it?? do you even feel the difference ??
You say that like it's not much of an increase. 8-10 more horse power is better than zero more horse power. Hell, I know guys that would kill to get 8-10 more horse power. In the long run it all adds up. 5 here 10 there, before you know it, you have added allot more horse power.

I swapped my plastic intake out with a powder coated GT intake, There was some minor changes that had to made the Coolant intake has to be moved. The second and more important change the non Turbo intake has 3 vacuum lines the GT intake only uses two. I used a T - on the Vacuum line to the brakes and its worked just fine. As for the HP gains it small, but I did notice the milage got slightly better. The GT intake is louder than the stock intake

Goldmember,
Well I guess that means you need to give us an explanation about how hard it is to install then.

I'm going to heat coat my intake someday, then I will notice a difference I hope. Just enough to keep my trying new things I think.

Also, just a little tidbit, from my readings over on PTCrew, apparently Chrysler remedied a lean condition in cylinder 4 by adjusting the dividers inside of the intake runners..
