Air Box Silencer?

I took out the white part and dropped in a k&n, i dunno of it helps at all but i just like the fact that i never have to change the air filter and i only have to clean it every 50,000. It supposdly saves on gas and adds some performace to it but honestly i havent checked the number to see if there is infact any difference.

The stock box with K&N drop in filter is best but if you are really into getting an intake for the looks then get the Airaid. It seals most of the hot engine air out. You could also get a aftermarket hood (I forget the name of it) with a scoop that will feed cold air to the Airaid intake. That would be a true cold air intake. [?]

[8]Thanks for the information..... I kinda figured the K&N under normal stock conditions is best. I have both & never could tell a difference. The Airaid definetly looks cool!!!
