[8)]I have the Mopar/Borla factory duals for 2 1/2 years on my NA Touring PT.I also have an Airaid filter.I had my muffler shop add a resonaotor (which also is stainless) where the straight pipe was) I thought without it that it was too loud on the highway & also idling. Now its fine. As far as performance I think the combination gives the PT a nice look & gets rid of the slight drag or lack of pep in normal driving. It just evens things out. It certaining isnt the turbo but its just fine now considering mines an automatic.I hope this helps,[^]MJB

I can't speak for the MOPAR, but I have had a Bassani Stanless Steel dual exhaust for 3 years, and have been very pleased. I purchased them at Myrtle Beach from Maggie @ raceandstreet.com, at that time they were $515 installed, I have not needed to add a resonator as it is not loud with the baffles in it.

Hope this gives you an idea on costs, etc.

The mopar exhaust really is not that loud at all. I've seen and heard a few, and compared to say flowmaster, dynamax, etc... it's practically silent.

Thanks I just one that a little more than the stock. My is the Borla Mopar one and I was hoping since it's offer by Mopar it shouldn't be loud at all until I hear it from you guys.

I don't want it to be so loud that it a bother inside the cabin in a long trip. I was thinking about buying a resonator but I'm sure that would ruin the little performance increase.

anyone have one of these? I heard it from another car and it's silent thats why I got it but maybe I'm wrong

There isn't much of a performance gain anyways for a n/a. Maybe 2-3 hp.....maybe. You'd get it for the looks and the sound. A resonator isn't going to cost you much in this case. You have to have big hp to get a useful gain.

Do yourself a favor. Whatever you do, do not get the flowmaster cat back kits. I have the single exit, and it was probably the biggest waste of money that I've spent. It doesn't fit right, no matter how much the muffler shop tweaks it, the muffler will hit the bumper and makes the most annoying sound when it happens. I've heard great things about the mopar/borla, and the Bassani exhausts. If I were in the market for another exhaust, personally I would give the BTG duals a shot. Thats my just my personal opinion. But stay away from the Flowmaster cat backs, the sound wasn't even improved much if at all.

I've got Bassani(from Maggie @ Race & Street) on my '01 TE, and Mopar (Borla-Revel) on my '03 Dream aand couldn't be happier. Distinctive sound from each, not loud, just sweet. No problems afgter 4 years w/Bassani, and 2 years with Borla. More expensive than some, but I got what I paid for in fit, performance, and looks. I recommend either one.
