Default timing belt

when do you replace the belt? Cost?

What's your owners manual say? Cost me over $800 for the '01 PT.

I was told the timing belt should last about 100 thousand miles. I had mine replaced at 36500 due to a blown head gasket, and HOLEY radiatior. I was only about $250 to do the belt.
