Default Flow Master Duels

I am looking to install the flow master duel exhaust kit and was looking for any pros or cons of this kit. I am going more for the look and sound, but also for the performance. Also, if anyone has any tips for instilation.

I'm not familiar with flowmaster, but I've done 2 sets of duals - tip-
don't tighten things until you get it all lined up the way you want it.

I am getting one this Sat. I went to a friends last night and listened to his, sounded wonderful. He passed on this advice...resonator. His was installed without one at first and he said the interior noise droned out everything. He went back and had a resonator installed and now you hear the rumble when you step on it or are outside the car. Inside you can still listen to the radio - the best of both worlds.

The series 40 is what I am getting. Super pumped because it goes on in the morning and then ff to a friends to show them how to use the Griot's Polisher on their 85 mercedes that they keep immaculate.

What kind of performance feel did you get with the 40 series? I am still looking at the 50 series for the duels.

You're probably going to notice about the same performance with either 40 or 50 series. I have a 40 series on mine and the sound is great. It gets a little droan at highway speeds, but at idle it has an awesome deep rumble, and when you get on it, it sounds great. 50 series is going to be a little quieter. You will see a little performance gain, but if you add an intake, you'll notice a good bit more.

Got the 40 on yesterday and what a great sound. It actually rumbles at idle, something I would have never guessed a 4 cylinder could do, not like the hot rod imports others are turning into racers. The turbo is faster - not as much lag between peddle and engine response when you step on it.

The loudest noise however is at moderate rpms at low speed; 2000 and 25 mph. I believe that we will head back and have a bigger resonator put on.

I am very pleased with them as they are giving just the sound I was hoping for. I did ask my shop if they could put a series 50 on and they said it was too tight. The ones they had tried did not work - just their experience others may have better results or on different models as mine is an 05.
