Whats the best way to remove the side emblems from the front doors? Mine have several broken areas and I want to replace them.
It looks great, but still needs an additional 100 or so HP. |

Heat gun on low setting, dental floss and I used Turtle Wax bug and tar remover with wax to remove glue residue and put on a shine.

A hair dryer will work just as well as a heat gun. I found that a heat gun puts out to much heat. The hair dryer will take a little longer.

I found a hair dryer, dental floss and stuff called 'Goo Gone' (not to be confused with Goof Off, Goof Off is bad for paint).
Goo Gone is a citrus based product that takes off stickers, gum, tar, ect. and doesn't hurt the paint. Around here (GA), you can find it at most grocery stores with the cleaning stuff. I've taken off many a dealers free advertising stickers with this stuff alone. ![]() |
