Default power steering whistle

hey guys! How is everyone ? I have a concern i guess you could say i have an 03 gt turbo and when i turn my steering wheel either right or left. Now when i check the power steering fluid all is fine. Is this normal? Is there some sort of pressure relief? What is the deal ? any help than can be given would be great. thanks Brian.

Quite a number of PT's (including mine) had the power sterring pump fail. Not saying your is on the way out, but it's a known problem. Also, there's a recall for the auto transaxle PT's to have the power steering lines checked for rubbing. Can't say yours comes under the recall but stop by a dealer, ask about the recall and bring up the noise you've been hearing.

I also remember a Tech service bulletin about power steering pulley alignment...
Not sure what years it applied to...[:I]
