I am looking to save another 150-200 lbs is all... The curb weight on my car is 3108, I took the rear seats and jack out so now its down to 3000. I would like to get it down close to 2800. That would be perfect. And trust me you notice the difference with a 4 banger. Thanks for the sugestions.

Okay, look into an aftermarket hood of plastic or fiberglass - you could also gain an air intake.
I didn't weigh them, but I'm quite sure that my BTG duals are lighter than the stock exhaust - the stock muffler is HEAVY - I'm sure a straight-thru single exhaust would be much lighter, and you'd get a performance boost as well.

Yup, done the Air intake already, with Header, and Exhaust, also a Apexi controller and REX motor mounts.. It has a pretty nice rolling start to it now...

Wheels were mentioned earlier in this thread and I think they are a great place to save weight. Sure, they can get a bit pricey, but I have a set of Velox vX6r wheels on my car and in 17" diameter they only weigh 17lbs each. Reduce this unsprung weight and the car will ride better, handle better, stop quicker and accelerate quicker. Nothing huge mind you, but it can all be measured on a road course - heck, reducing the rotating mass at the drive wheels (whether the wheels themselves or even the brake rotors or tires) can show measureable results on a dyno.

All that and do a search cuz I think there is a carbon rear hatch made too and that would lighten her up a bit as well.

I agree with Fodder, replace the steal rear hatch and hood with carbon fiber. If this is a project car and not a daily driver then gut the interior until your down to bare metal. Run quater tank. Remove all the mechanicals from the windows and lock mechanism from the rear doors, weld them shut for structural rigidity, cut off as much from the door enterior that's not stuctural. Replace the front seats and replace them with something lighter. Remove old springs and shocks and replace them with coilovers. Aluminum wheels. Plastic Manifold, carbon fiber valve cover, Hot Rod Mirrors, the list goes on and on. Here's some pics of the carbon fiber stuff that I've had my eye on for a while.
