Default Royal Purple??

I have seen lots of reviews claiming a performance gain using just Royal Purple Engine Oil. However that crap is a lot! Has anybody have any experience using it with a 4 cylinder?? And how many miles is it rated at?

The performance gain is pretty much BS, but just for kicks I'll say a very optimistic 2hp if that. Synthetic oil is better then regular oil, even though I still use the old fashioned stuff (not like my Cruiser is a high performance race car or anything).

Actually the performance gain is true. All I use is RP. Dyno tests have proven 5% gains in HP. They even did a test of it on Horse Power TV.

I use only Mobil 1 in my 03GT and it dont gain me any HP or mileage just peace of mind. The only noticeable trait was it runs very smooth with less vibration.
