Think about it, if they were designed to save the customer money then the company selling them would not be making any money.

All service contracts and extended warranties are desinged to make the company selling them a profit not to save the customer money.

I got my 7/70 on my 06GT for $1,000 spread over the 5 years term of my lease. It is from Chrysler and has the same $100 deductible as stated above and can be bought back if I sell the car. I think your extra miles is worth it but I will not keep my car past the 70,000 mile mark anyways since it is on lease.
