Default Rebuild Auto Transmission

I was wondering if there were any performance replacement parts for the auto transmission that people were familiar with? Some forum members have posted threads about stronger clutches, but will they work on an auto transmission.

Not exactly the easiest swap though. Would cost much less just to rebuild the autotranny ModMike style...

Yep, that's the way I'd go. [?]

Can't post a link to it on this site, not allowed. If it was listed at ptenthusiasts.com, or ptworld.com, or ptcruizer.com, I could. But the forum it's on is evil, and should never be visited, lest Jody's ad revenue decline....

Well this is what I've found out as a good way to upgrade the auto transmission in our PT's. Here is a list of parts that should increase performance and strengthen the transmission too.

- Performance Transmission Racing Kit Part # RK604HP (from TCS)
- TCS High Performance Torque Converter
- Phantom Grip 904 Gold

The total parts price should run about $1100.00

These parts can be found at: http://www.tcsproducts.com/
