Default anybody fixed this problem?

on my 03 GT when I accelerate moderate to heavy I can feel air coming in thru the dash vents because vaccum is low and allows the vents to open.....anyone installed a check valve in the vaccum lines? if so where

I haven't heard of that problem, and I'm on other PT forums - one where there are lots of modded turbos.
Sure you don't have a vacuum leak?[:I]

if I had a vaccum leak more than likely I should have a high idle and if i had a vaccum leak the air would come thru the vents all the time-same thing as accelerating.....no vaccum

Try turning the selector to recirculation instead of fresh air. I've noticed when the windows are cracked or sunroof is open, I get airflow through the vents as well, because it is on the fresh air setting!

I keep the selector on recirc all the time, thats how I know air is coming out of the vents when it shouldn't be

Well, then, I'm pretty sure that's a mechanical selector, not vacuum. maybe a broken cable?

it's vaccum because the air only comes out of the vents on moderate to hard acceleration, otherwise if it was a broken cable I would have air all the time. can someone with a turbo try theirs and let me know
