Default AirAid Installed!

It speaks for itself.. It's really nice to look at and is going to be a great start to modding up my engine.[8)]

Airade is a good intake 'cause it closes off most of the hot air. Good choice. [?]

Shouldn't Gold trim off the weather strip near the intake to let in cold air?

The stripe on the top is to seal against the hood (as well as protect it). The incoming air is coming from the opening in the fenderwall leading into the lower portion of the airbox.

The instructions say you can remove 12" of rubber to allow colder airflow. I did remove mine and had no problems.

Just installed my new Airaid in the '06. This is the first that I could find one that would fit the '06 as the one I had taken off of my '02 wouldn't fit.

Now I just have to check my milage over a couple of fillups.
