Default Error Code P0128

Check from this site and nothing. [:I]

Could this be because I just had new larger wheels put on? [:I]

Thanks dude, I am low on fliud.

Where can I buy the special coolant.

Now I have low levels of coolant, but my PT has run under the normal postion for over 30,000 miles since I have it was changed at 30,000 like this. It takes some time to get up to normal, then on during a constant dirve it drops to about half and then increase back up again once stopped but never goes over the normal level.

Could this be caused because I have low coolant, this error code showing?

It's all probably due to the low level. On todays cars, with the closed system, they're supposed to be filled to the top of the radiator with no air in the engine and water level to "low/cold" in the overflow tank. When hot and engine not running, the water expands into the overflow, then gets sucked back into the radiator as it's cooling off. Trapped air in the engine/radiator messes up that process.

Check with any auto parts store for coolant that's compatible with the Chrysler red gunk. They even sell a 50/50 mixture (water/coolant) so you don't have to measure anything.

Sweet I'll have to do that at lunch, I get to work at 6:15 usually.
Thanks Crewzin.

I have also heard that I may need to have it replaced.

Ah, so you were low on coolant.....
With engine cool to the touch, take off the radiator cap and look in - coolant should be right up to the top. If it isn't, add coolant 'till it is. Start engine (yes, with cap off) and watch the coolant - if it drops, add some - this is air bubbles working it's way out - do this for no more than a couple minutes - Put radiator cap on and put coolant in overflow bottle.
If your temp gauge has been fine, might not be thermostat....

Don,
Too soon to tell I have low reserves in the tank yes, but haven't filled it yet.
I tried to buy coolant at an Discount Auto Parts and Napa. They both told me that it was universal that all makes require the same, yeah ok, don't try to jerk around some one that actually knows there car. I have to take a trip to the dealer and mix it myself from their one gallon jug and distilled water. Per the manual it states uses specific coolant and mix with high quality water like distilled when filling.

I will have to pick some up from dealer and wait a while for it to cool enough to try this. I still would have to mix it with the water for the 50/50 mixture.

Also picked up the thermostat anyways.

I'm starting to worry alot about it now however, I get a slight clicking sound when I drive, not sure if it is normally there, but I don't remember hearing it before, however that could be because I also need an oil change, the whole tires things has keep me from getting to the oil change house like I was suppose to.

Yes, distilled water is what you want - you don't want minerals in your radiator. Many supermarkets carry it - my wife uses it to fill up her steam iron so it doesn't get crudded up.

Well by the time I get home and the PT has cooled down, I hope it can post my results.
The thermostat seems fine, the temp goes up and down as normal, I do think it is the levels, but who knows until I can find time to get back at it.
