Default Post Pics of Fog Lights

Show um if you got um!

The Cruiser is more "challenging" when it comes to aftermarket driving/fog mounting. Also, how about a little summary on how you managed to complete your project.

Hey Guys and Gals -

I work for Hella,Inc (www.hellausa.com). Our German made Hella lamps, as well as the Sport Compact OptiLux lamps we sell are the best value for your dollar.
I would recommend the Hella FF50 o FF75 for the cars, but we also sell the OptiLux Angel Eyes lamp. It's a 4" round Driving Lamp that has an LED ring around the perimeter.

Check out www.puma-access.com or www.rallyelights.com to buy.

Thanks TJ. Since you work for Hella, do you have them on your PT? What I'd like to see is a plug-and-play conversion to the OEM pieces (like 9006 socket adapters so the Chrysler fog switch is utilized).

The ovalish FF series looks like it would compliment the stock pieces somewhat, but a Micro DE also has possibilities. Perhaps Hella (or someone with practical knowledge) could get the ball rolling here by wire diagraming these lights into the stock PT's system [8] ??

Mounting them is another story. I'd like to R/R in the stock location but am open to creative solutions. Let's hear & see from those who have done it!

BTW: Has anyone considered using Oldsmobile Alero or Escalade projector fogs? They look like they are the same shape. [:I]

The problem with making kits that use the factory wiring is that usually, factory fog lamps run at about 27-32 Watts. The minimum that all of ours, and most all fog and driving lamps run at is 55 Watts, which means that results would be unpredictable and may even be dangerous.
The Micro DE would be a good lamp to use.We sell this lamp to Toyota for the 4Runner fog lamps (on the last generation, not the newest one), as well as other OEs.These lamps are made of Magnesium, but in the very near future, Hella-KG is going to start making them from aluminum.
I have not put any lamps on the car yet, but the headlamps and the tail lamps are made by Hella (Hella Mexico I think).

As far as mounting, you can mount the DEs in that location, and then maybe cover them using one of the cheap colored or smoked fog lamp shields that I have seen online to fill the gaps.

Oh, you can also get the DE in a Xenon Driving Lamp, but obviously it's much more $$$.

That might be a good idea - using those lens covers and hole-sawing them for the DEs...

What system do you plan to use?
