Hi, I have a 2007 PT Cruiser w/ 2.4L inline 4 cyl. and an AT. The transmission will not engage out of 1st gear when i drive. Also the fuel guage acts up by showing empty or full. Anyone have any idea if these problems can be fixed given the OBD codes? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if you know what the codes are but in case you don't, P0463- fuel level sensor circuit high input, P0700-Transmission control system(MIL request), P0750 - shift solenoid "A". Sounds like a slow trip to the stealer is in order, your warranty should cover you. Good luck!

Yikes, I wish I had warranty, but the fact is that my dad bought the car at an auto auction and now we're trying to see if its possible to replace anything thats related to the tranny so it can drive.

Should have 24 months, 24,000 miles. Maybe more on tranny, definately worth a trip to a dealer.

3/36 applies to all Chrysler vehicles unless the veh has been totalled or for some other reason had the warranty voided.
