Well I got my car back today. The dealer had it for about 4 hours total. The problem seems to be gone now and the steering seems much firmer now. There is no noise from the power steering pump until I get close to the locks then I get a bit of hiss.
I used to have a problem with the steering wheel shaking from side to side slightly while driving at Highway speeds. That is also gone now. All-in-all a positive experience. I just wish it wasn't necessary in the first place. Also I noticed that the dealer put ATF in the steering pump as well...This must have something to do with a "cooler" that was also replaced...
