on one of the forums someone did a cost analysis of nitros vs turbo in the long rnn the nos was more. I feel a Hahn turbo kit for 2500 is a better bang for the buck. People always forget to mention the price of filling bottles. Its easy to blow a bottle of nos on a friday night.

Phat,
It depends on how much you play. I own a performance shop and have the areas only nitrous filling station. Even then, I've not filled the PT tank since before CTF3 in June. It's been a month with absolutely no addition costs. No premium fuel to the Falls and back saved me enough to fill a bottle of NOS. |

Mx5 What self control u have I give u mucho compliments. If it was me I would go through a tank a day. U would have me at the Mx5 rehab clinic for NOS addication. From the first ride in my car I always have my foot into it. My motto I FEEL THE NEED FOR SPEED SO i DRIVE IT LIKE I STOLE IT ! so maybe its not really my motto but I claim it.The one thing I do notice u say is u are only filling area in how big of a area.Same in our area next shop is 60 miles away. Also most people think all u need is a 500.oo kit . what about heater, controls, and the goodies that make it a nice safe system.Mx5 can we talk u into running Watkins Glen race track with us this weekend . Wewould have a ball

I'm picking up a bunch of NOS goodies at www.laneautomotive.com , then one of my car clubs is having our 16th annual car show complete with kegs of refreshments and a live band. (we don't do anything small) We're reworking the 4-link on a NHRA points chasing car tonight. I hope to get it to the local IHRA track on Sunday for testing prior to going to the Cincinatti race next week. I'm the only NOS authorized refilling station in the cities of South Bend, Michigan City, LaPorte, Notre Dame, Niles, Elkhart (1 listed, but he's closed), and any small surrounding communities. That should cover 1 million people. The next closest is 45 miles south-east. Nothing to the west before Chicago. I'm it. I just walked in from filling a bottle for a IHRA sport compact. |
