Cheap and easy would be Nitrous. You can typically run a 150HP kit with no damage to the engine, but *DO NOT* get greedy! Nitrous Express sells good 'wet' kits. Should run you about $500 for a basic kit before any add-ons like a bottle warmer, remote opener, etc.I would also go with basic bolt-ons like a header, air intake, and a good freash-air hood.
I *love* your flames! Howmuch did they cost you? Does it bother you when guys are staring at your flames when they're talking to you, or do you just wish you had eyes in your paint?

Watch out Jack.
A 150hp kit on a 4 cylinder PT with powdered metal rods would only work once!

I've installed a lot of nitrous, and tuned a lot of PTs.
About 75hp is all the engine internals will handle.
I have photos of bent rods.

I own a performance shop and have a nitrous refilling station.
There's a lot more to it than just bolting on a kit and pushing the button.

There's a NitrousWorks installation guide here:

Well, that's what Nitrous Express has always claimed, but I don't have any first-hand knowledge. I know I would get greedy with it.

I header would be a good next step since you already changed exhaust and intake.

How slow is slow? How much faster do you want it? Do you have an automatic or manual tranny? You already have the cold air intake and exhaust.
I agree a header might be the next step. It will cost anywhere from $200.00-$300.00. plus the cost of having it installed..unless you do it yourself.
NOS system will cost about $500.00-650.00 (with all the extras) Plus it costs about 40.00-50.00 to refill a 10 lbs bottle.
You shouldn't raise your horsepower up past 75 extra horses without expensive engine modifications or you will get what your friends got-Blown engines.

Try things like a header, a 180 degree thermostat, Magnecore plug wires, increasing the gap in the plugs slightly, etc. These things will slightly give you an edge on the other NA PT with no mods. Also check into underdrive pulleys, cams, etc.Basically, you can go as fast as your wallet.....or purse, will alow you to.
