my daughters pt started running very bad while runnin down the freeway yesterday. i ran the codes and two came up. p1684 & p0303. i gather the 0303 is from needing a tune up. can someone tell me what p1684(driver5-line5) would be ? thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum
![]() You didn't say what year nor mile age. Probably needs plugs Champion 7440, (if you do not have a turbo),they are double platinum plugs. Gap at .040, use anti seize grease. I also used MOPAR High Performance wires (can get at dealer, may have to order). On the wires use dialectric grease. Torque plugs to 13 ft lbs. If you have a NA you will have to remove the intake, to replace torque in this sequence 5, 3,1, 2,4 at 105 inch pounds. Don't worry about the intake gaskets unless you damage one during replacement. Good Luck

Just to make it clear 'Dad': Be SURE to replace the wires with Aftermarket, NOT "Genuine Chrysler".
The factory wires are of exceptionally low quality; in fact I would not be surprised if your plugs (even #3) are in better condition than the wires. --- and welcome to the forum....
