Mr. Crewzin,

I ordered the part OK, so I figure why not clean the IAC while I'm waiting for it to arrive. Took the IAC out, it was covered in dirt, cleaned it up and guess what, tha car runs perfect. No stalling, no ruff idle, no fluctuation when turning the air on. The car runs great.For all of you out there with the stalling or ruff idle clean the Idle air controller pictured above on this page as posted by Crewzin. If your ever in the DFW area I owe you couple a cold ones.

Your very welcome. It was just a guess but I did have the IAC go bad on my Vette after experiencing the same kind of symptoms as you, but that's a 21 year old car so I'm replacing parts on it as they go bad. Hope you can cancel your order for the new part?

I had to have my AC replaced in August. They found all kind of things wrong which had the mechanics scratching their heads. Since then, my PT idels real rough when the AC is on. Never did this before. Also, the AC isn't cooling right and the air is warm and it stinks inside the car. It's going back to the shop on Tuesday. Haven't had to use it much since I got it back. There has been a couple of times that it cools just find and others that it doesn't and that's when it has this idle problem. Any suggestions?

I had a SHO that would only stall in stop and go traffic on hot days. No codes were ever thrown. It turned out to be the electric fuel pump. Took months for the solution to that one. Glad you got it fixed, I know how frustrating intermittent problems are.
