Hi guys!
Here is my project: I'm looking to put a 2.4l PT Cruiser motor into my Mini Cooper. It's going to be hard, I have accepted that- and everyother forum has told me this! I just need some info please... Anyway, I would like to get some answers from people in the know-how: First of all, is there some kind of unit that I can purchase to handle all the cam timing, injection etc...since my Mini is a SOHC, timing and all that may be an issue. And I don't want to put a whole different wiring harness in! Second, are there any differences between different years engines, is there any specific year engine I should try buy? If the Cruiser motor won't work, I'm gong to use a 2.0 R/T motor from a Neon. Thanks guys! |
