Duuuuuuuuuude,
I've been driving around for a week in my 2000 Cherokee with just about nothing working on the dashboard or the remote locks. I was very worried because I just KNEW that there wasn't a single fuse to controll all that stuff, but your post led me to the culprit! thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU! I'm leaving town tomorrow morning and I was going to leave it with the dealer to fix while I was gone - wonder how much that would have cost?!? Best wishes --- Morgan |

Morgan,
Glad that you were able to figure out the issue and not pay big bucks at a dealer or mechanic. These forums definitely have saved me on many things, so glad that my experience with this issue helped someone else, too. Thanks for the note! Matt |

I just joined the forum while searching for "No fuse"code. Thank you so much for the great info. I attempted to install a new CD unit for my wife's '03 PT. Everything worked fine after the installation. I had to go back in to adjust the bracket for the CD player after noticing some rattling. I didn't disconnect the battery first this time. I saw some sparks while pulling the CD out. I stopped and checked. It showed "NO FUSE" on the dash. The back speakers, the alarm, and keyless entry are not working!!!
I traced back the fuse based on the owner's manual, and that didn't help. I checked every single fuse under the hood and inside the car, and every fuse was good. Now, what do I do? It's still not working! Please help! |

Oops! It's all fixed now. I went back to read the first post AGAIN! I realized that I skipped the IOD fuse. Sure enough, the IOD fuse was out! Popped in a new yellow guy, it was good to go!
![]() Thank you again for the wonderful info! |
