Cool Head Lights

I have adjusted my head lights on my 2002 woody, but can't seem to get a higher light pattern. What kind and watt should I replace the stock lamps with. I have read where the higher power draw melts the wiring harness.

Yes, there are many posts about burned wires or charred connectors from too powerful bulbs.
You say higher - you mean aimed higher? (because you say you adjusted)
Well, I lowered the rear of my PT, and the lights aim higher....
