2006 pt cruiser idle n loss of power problem

i have a 2006 pt cruiser the malfunction indicator light came on and when u start out driving it goes like its missing on 2 cylinders then it will kick in and run good until i take my foot off gas then back to same problem popped the hood togay sounds like i have a vaccum leaking but cant locate it any ideas on how or what is wrong

I had the same problem on my 2002, transmission went out.

Please fill out your profile so we can tell if your problem is with a Non-turbo, Tubo Lite or High Performance Turbo. If you do have one of the Turbo's, many owners have had problems with a vacuum leak.

Also, if the malfunction light came on, the computer sets a code which gives you/us some sort of place to start. Turn the key on 3 times (towards the front window) without actually starting the car. On the 3rd turn keep the key facing forward and the computer will show a code in the middle dial. It will look something like this... P0070 Then come back and let us know what the code is.

it came back with 2 codes p2024 and p0122 it is non turbo

P0122 Throttle position sensor voltage low

P2024 EVAP Fuel Vapor Temperature Sensor Circuit

Well, I thought it might help. Sure doesn't mean anything to me. Maybe someone else has an idea.
