Engine Shut Off, Will Not Restart

Well, frak.

Since I had posted that last I had pretty much come to that same conclusion. Pretty sad when the 01 cruiser I'm still paying for is costing more in maintenance than my 93 Chevy P/U

I bought the extended warranty when I bought this PT (it was used) back in 2004. I just checked it and it mentions this part specifically. Wonder if I can actually get it replaced under warranty

Only have a few thousand left on the warranty, this might actually almost pay for it.

I have had warranty work done before. If it is a Chrysler Warranty you don't have to pay anything. If it is a after market you'll have to pay and collect from that company.

Have the service scheduled, now just need to see if I can get a tow scheduled.

i have the same problem with my cruiser since i have owned it. Don't do it all the time just every once and awhile. I have had it at the dealer and they have replace fuel pump, computer and who knows what else. Today it done it and I thought it wasn't gonna start back again and finally after about 30 tries it stayed on. Took it back to dealer and they switched some more relays so probably will be ok for another month or so.

Assumption is correct. The Chrysler warranty should cover the tow job, if youu use Chrysler Hotline!!

It started up fine for the tow truck driver this morning.

Then started up fine when he went to back it off the truck.

Dealership called a few hours ago and said they are going to swap out the battery cables. Got an ET for that to be completed in about an hour from now.

Hopefully that fixes it, and I don't really mind paying someone else to replace those cables.
