I would take the car to your dealer and have things checked to make sure all is adjusted properly. A car should idle smoothly especially after the engine is warm. My turbo engine idles smoothly at 800 rpm. When the engine was "breaking-in" there were a very few times of "momentarily roughness" just after it was started but that disappeared quickly. Good luck.

It's not hard to have done and doesn't take long. My 2001 early build 5-speed's idle is usually at about 800 RPM. Lately it has varied from 500-1000.

The flash upgrade should clear the rough idle.

Don't take the dealers advice, go in right away and have it done, oil change or not.
