The oil pressure light on my 01 comes on after driving 40 miles or so. The oil level is fine, and if the car sits for an hour or longer the light goes out and will stay out until the engine warms again. Anyone have this problem? the car only has 72000 mi, and it's been well maintained. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you might be having trouble with the Oil Pressure Sending Unit.
