I just bought an 03 pt turbo friday. I am looking at adding a cold air intake, bov, and a jet chip. Anyone have any input on what would be the best route for these. I also noticed that mopar has a bov conversion kit, are they worth the money, and if not, what would be the next best bov.

Jet chip - Not worth the money. Get the Mopar Stage 1. Enhancements make it more than worth it. Mopar bov - Noise maker, does nothing for performance but does sound cool. Mopar is coming out with a better one soon.

The Stage 1 is the most bang for the buck.

Listen to Mean Green. Don't waste you money on the "cold air" intake or jet chip. Stage 1 (the BEST mod), modded airbox and get some good piping to connect the airbox to the turbo will give you much better results. There are a couple hard pipe options available. It you look at the pipe connecting the airbox to the turbo you will see that is chokes down in the middle to act as a silencer in addition to the white "donut" in the airbox outlet. You can just pull the donut out of the airbox exit with no problems.
As for the Mopar bypass valve, yes it is mostly a noisemaker but I like hearing it so for a few bucks why not? Then you will want to start thinking about opening up the exhaust end of the equation...it goes on and on...welcome to the addiction.

Dyno results - PT Forums - The PT Cruiser Enthusiasts and Owners Resource Now granted, you need an open intake with a big turbo, but with the stock turbo it hurts torque.
