I was reminded again last night how inadequate my stock fog lights are. I'd like to get some better bulbs, amber, that will punch out farther in the fog. Any suggestions on which bulbs will work best on a 2003 Ltd Ed PT?

A few of us have switched the fog lights out to Sylvania Silverstar 9006 ST/2. I got mine from Wal-Mart. They are a lot brighter and whiter. As far as Amber goes, some aftermarket dealers are selling colored overlays to change the light to any color you desire (and that is legal).
After I put in the Silverstars, it made the headlights look almost pale yellow in comparison so I went back and bought Super White Xe 9006 xs for the main lights.

I decided to give these a try:
yellow car light bulbs by Luminics - 9006 golden yellow auto light bulbs - JDM Ultra Golden Yellow 9006 55W Twin Pack Light Bulbs They had them on sale for $18.95 with $6.95 shipping.

I have the yellow Luminics. I like the color better, it's easier for me to see details at night, but I don't think they are really "brighter". Just make sure you keep the box and receipt, though, because they do burn out. Be careful to use latex gloves to handle them when installing, I was told if you touch the bulb with your fingers, then the oil from your skin will cause the bulb to burn out due to the oil heating up and then breaking the glass.
