Default Need help on my '02 Cruiser!

Last Saturday I was driving down the freeway when I felt my car kind of jolt a little bit, then the car died. I pulled over let it sit for a minute or 2 and it started right back up and took off, about a mile down the road it died again. I pulled it off to the side and waited for about 20 minutes it started back up and drove it about 2 miles. I let it sit for about 2 hours then drove 15 miles back home, about 2 blocks from my home it died again. I checked the battery and it is fine, so I thought it might be the fuel pump. This morning I was able to drive it to a mechanic who told me my gooseneck was broke and I was leaking coolant everywhere and that was the reason it had stopped. I knew I had a small leak cause I noticed there was some coolant on the ground of my garage. It seems to me that there is more to it than just the gooseneck, any ideas, suggestions?

Your mechanic found the problem, right?

Did you get any other indicators when it died? Check Engine light? Temperature gauge pointing straight up?

Sweet smelling steam pouring from under the hood?

Black oily smoke and open flames?

Any codes?
