'Door open' lights

so its been a week since i tried the wd40. and surprisingly, YES, my car is finally fixed. i sprayed wd40 on the latch behind, as well as the door latch. thank you all so much for the words of wisdom. this problem was becoming a thorn. can you imagine what i would have been charged if i had taken my car to a dealer. again, thank you all so much. week straight no problems.
