2.4 turbo High Output

2004 2.4 turbo High Output is this just a badge difference or does it have more than a regular turbo car?

They started putting High Output on the '04 GT because the turbo lite came with only 180 hp. I guess they could have put Low Output on the turbo lite.

if the turbo lite is 180hp, what is the 2.4 no turbo?

In the UK the PT is only 2.0 but it makes 150hp.

2.4 non turbo = 150 hp.

mmm it must be the tune and emission law stuff that is in force these days. engine got bigger, but makes only the same power, produces more co2 and
gets worse gas milage...

1.6 PT in Europe (not in UK) = 115hp, 185g/km co2
2.0 PT all Europe to 2006 = 140hp, 196g/kmco2
2.4 PT 2006 onwards =140hp, 223g/km co2
2.2D PT 2005 on = 119hp, 186g/km co2
