Default what is the best exhaust system for PT Crusier?

I have a 2002 custom PT crusier. It has a regular 2.4 L engine. It has no turbo or anything special. My car is set up for dual exhaust out the back. I was wondering what the best sounding exhaust for my PT curiser? I dont want a normal exhaust system. I want something that has a deep throating sound to it. If anyone has an idea, i would appreciate it for some opionions.

Thank you.

atcocruiser, Welcome to the Forum!!

This is pretty much the same replies you will get: Go to a PT car show and listen to some of the cars there to see if there is anything you like. All sounds sound different to each person, some will like them one and others will find them unapealing.

I agree. Get the exhaust system that makes the sound you like by listening to others. Don't worry about any power gain as there won't be one.

I am on my second PT and second set of duals. I like the BTG I have now - very deep and more important, true flow-thru, and there's a "Y" splitter so both sides get equal exhaust.

I agree, tho, listen before you buy - music to me may be noise to another.

What did you have before? I have the Heart Throb duals, and while they don't sound bad and the flow good they look a tad weird. I like the look of the BTG but don't have the coin at the moment. I haven't seen an exhaust system on any other PT than mine.
