Oil filter location on a 2003 PT Cruiser

Can anyone tell us just where the oil filter is on a 2003 PT Cruiser?

If it's like my 07, it'll be just adjacent and aft of the oil pan. It makes an oil change a one-location operation.

The only thing I found bad about it is no front motor mount to jack on. I jack on the passenger side of the car, behind the tire on the subframe. Very similar location to where the spare tire jack goes. If you're using ramps or a hoist it won't be a problem.

Best bet is Rhino ramps - $20 nearly everywhere. They are the right angle. & unless you're corpulent, raise enough to slide under on a piece of cardboard. I had steel ramps, they were too steep - the body would've hit.

13 mm drain plug, for the filter, I use a strap wrench (Sears).

Thanks, I got it changed today, not bad at all. Just jacked up the car a little on one side.
