Default Error code??

Ok everyone was very helpful with my last error code question, I went to the dealer on that one, cost me $2000 dollars, they had to fix the body damage they did, and it took 30 days because they forgot about it! But thats another story, lets just say if you live in Delray Beach Florida, stay away from Maroone Chrysler on Federal Highway.
Anyways I am getting a 0500 error code which the code list by skylight is supposed to be a "Vehicle speed sensor cicuit" fault. Ok what the heck is that and what do I check? Anyhelp will be appreciated!

Ok its getting weird now, I checked for the erro code again and now it reads "no fault" and the check engine light is still on.
I checked the fuel cap and all under hood fluids, all are normal and the car runs great, what gives?

use a code scanner to clear any old codes or freeze frame data. if the light remains, you still have a problem.
