I know nothing of the Stage 2 Chip your referring too (except that it really isn't a chip because Chrysler won't let anyone near the programming) but the ECM is by the firewall on the drivers side.

Just a silly question but will the Jet chip work with your car? If it's for a Neon isn't it built for a N/A engine? I would double check it's made to run on a turbocharged engine before installing it. I would be worrying that the chip wants to add a lot more timing advance, which you don't want with boost on a turbo engine, as that will cause detonation. You may want to look into Mopar Stage 1, which comes with larger injectors, and a new ecu.
Ben Edit: Sorry I saw your link, it does say that it is made for a turbocharged engine. I still wonder how much it will work though. If you have a chance, PM MX-5, he has worked extensively with JET and could tell you what to expect. I know on the N/A chip he worked on once you exceed 85% throttle the computer stops "seeing" the JET chip and goes to default parameters.

Sorry you wasted your money on the Jet chip.
A waste of money compared to a Mopar Stage 1 upgrade and while Stage 1 costs more it is a building block to more power that has enhancements you'll never get with a Jet chip. A Mopar Stage 1 equipped GT will easily put 4-6 cars on a Jet chip equipped GT. ![]()

true enough, but this for me, besides the typhoon intake is probably gonna be the last power upgrade for the cruiser. I figured if all I spend was 250$ for a plug and play component that makes even a small difference, it was probably worth it. Someone with my lack of income can't dig up 500 bucks just for the stage 1, and then have to pay another 500 to get it installed...
Just tryin to be economical!! ![]()
