There could be a number of reasons why it's verheating but the main one a lot of owners have is that one or both fan motor speeds have burn out. Two other reasons are water pump (mentioned above) and a malfunctioning or broken thermostat.

And most expensive of all, a clogged radiator or bad head gasket.

OK so the car has been sitting for about 2 months and i finally got 2 codes to pop up they are 0480 and 0481, Cooling Fan Relay 1 Control Circuit and Cooling Fan Relay 2 Control Circuit. So is this bad relays or a wiring issue? thanks for the input.

The fuse box under the hood has both the High speed and Low speed fan relays. I'd almost bet my annuity check that both relays wouldn't go out at the same time but stranger things have happened. As far as maybe it being a wiring issue, I don't think anyone hear could make that call. Start with the relays. Clear the codes and see what happens.
