I hope this worked as I haven't attached photos on this site yet.
The Roadrunner is a '69, with a 383, auto ps. bucket seats and center console. The Barracuda is a '64 and has a Super Commando 273 v8, auto. (pushbutton selector) It also has bucket seats. And appropriate for this thread on a recent 200 mile trip I got 17 mpg with it. I was very pleased with that. |

i hate to say it but you should have bought the stick shift.
I drive a 2006 basic with stock wires, plugs, K&N air filter, synthetic blend oil and running regular unleaded and getting an average of 30mpg on the highway. City mileage still sucks though. |

I put on Borla duals and K&N filter and get 20 MPG city or highway with my '05 PTGT. PT cruisers seem to be all over the spectrum with gas mileage.

This is probably an entirely stupid question, but how do you figure your mileage? We have a 2006 non-turbo automatic, and it has a 15 gal tank, right? It seems like we are always putting gas into it, so I am curious to see what kind of mileage we are getting so that we can try to improve it.
As far as I know, it most likely has all the parts it came with new (we've only had it 72 days), so there is probably a lot of room for improvement! |

03 manual na, 64,000 miles, Mobil One and K&N filter, new wires/platinum plugs at 40,000. Consistent 26-27 in town, best of 32 on highway, usually 30-31, this at avg. speed of 79-85mph, a/c on, no cruise control. Mobil One alone gave me 1-2 mpg.
My 05GT auto averaged 17 in town thanks to my right foot, a best of 29/30 while on cruise control at 85mph, but only after 15,000 miles. Plus there's that premium thing.... |
