I had to change out the lower ball joints on my '01, and when I put it back together after re-installing the lower control arms, I followed the procedure in the service manual about jacking up the front of the engine to adjust the distance on the upper motor mount on the passenger side. When you get the distance correct, then you torque the bolts on the lower strut and the other engine mounts. It made mine drive so much smoother, if I had known about it before, I would have not waited until I changed the lower ball joints. No more rocking back & forth of the engine on the mounts. When you turn off the engine, it doesn't shake the car like it used to. This is just an idea...Good luck!

Yes geobey
I thought it could be the motor mounts (torque struts) I replace them last weekend and they were worn and looked bad but the vibration is still there
the only think I can think of now is left axle or something in the transmission I heard somewhere the torque converter could cause this what is strange is it only does it after changing in to second and no other time that I can tell and if you take off real slow it does not do it

what is your thoughts

Oh snapperz....I did't read further before I posted....hmmm I can't think of anything else that was mentioned....have you tried taking your vehicle to have the tires balanced? I mean this is minor, but if you are only feeling a small vibration....

I guess it still could be the left cv axle Joints And yes the tires are balanced I rotated them just to make sure it was not in the tires and this is a new set of tires and it did the same thing with the old tires
I guess it could be a bad bearing but would it not do it other times same with the axle

It is just very hard to tell where it is coming from it is more in the body of the car not the steering wheel the steering wheel does not vibrate.
