Default Lower Control Arms

Yesterday; I picked up by '05 GT (35,000 miles) after dropping it off for a clunking sound when braking. $800 later and new lower control arms, the clunk is gone but it has been replaced by a creaking/moaning noise when braking (at low speeds). I read a thread stating that this creaking was normal for an automatic. Any thoughts? Should I bring it back to the dealer (I'd hate to drop it off again for no reason). Thanks.

I had mine replaced 2X's at 36K & 56K ..(clunk -bang etc). on a 2003 PT Touring I bought new,,,, both times I complained to Chrysler Corp & they paid minus $100.00 & an allignment paid by me.The dealer did nothing the first time to help..... I believe its a defect in the design... I never had any care going thru control arms like this(car is garaged & I watch how I drive)

no amount of creaking is normal for any car reguardless of transmission.

Thanks for the reply. I had the car at the dealer today. They tell me that the brakes needed to be adjusted, and that it was the rubber rubbing that I was hearing. I'm doubtful this is the cause, as I've never heard of rubber causing a creaking noise. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be returning during the week. As of now, the noise is gone, however, it is an intermitent noise.
