??? Do you mean a throttle body spacer, or a new throttle body?

If it's a spacer ...forget it, waste of money! If you need to put on a new throttle body (for some reason, it's pretty easy, just a couple bolts after taking off the air intake tube, but you should tighten down the bolts after installing a new TB to the correct specs using a torque wrench.

The TB Spacer might help on some cars ....mostly carburetors, but will do nothing for the PT.

the intake runners are already rediculously long on a PT, so adding a spacer will give you no noticeable effect either HP or gas mileage wise.

I believe some of the spacer companies are stating that thier spacer makes more power because it causes the intake air to swirl in one direction. I have not seen any dyno proved power from a spacer on a PT. Howell will port your TB to 55mm for $100. That is a proven power increaser, I am sending mine off shortly if you want to know how well it works.
