Hello all, I'm new to this forum.
I'm having a problem with my A/C in my 04' I have already done some research and found some troubleshooting steps. 1. Started car and had some turn on the AC, The compressor engage and idle jumps. 2. Compressor is running and check the 2 hoeses that run to the firewall. One hot (big one) and the other is cold (small one). 3. Tried twiddling the interior knobs try recirculate on/off. No change. I got this instructions off this forum A/C not working Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be great |

Welcome to the forum. You didn't say anything about your fan. Does it come on when you turn on the A/C even if the engine is cold? It should.

You could try going to one of the auto air-conditioning places that give a FREE check of the system. The biggest name we have here is a place called Ice Cold Air. They diagnosed a problem I had with my Vette (high pressure switch) and even told me where to go locally to pick one up instead of going to the dealer.
