K&N Oil filters on the Web

I had been having a hard time locating a supplier of K&N oil filters for the Turbo PT Cruiser. I found a pretty good link and I thought that I'd share it with everyone. www.4filters.com is the URL and below are the particulars. These are the K&N performance Gold filters. I just took the cruiser to the dealer and took the filter with me. You have to watch them like a hawk though. Last 2 oil changes I have had them put in mobil1. They almost went back to Dino oil, its a good thinh that I was watching and corrected their mistake.

I order from TruckPerformance, http://www.truckperformance.com/ . If you order the 12-pack of K&N Performance Gold Oil Filters for $97.99, shipping is free. Have to tell them you own a 2002 Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L engine to get the right (longer) filter for the Turbo PT. The oil filter also works fine with the N/A PT engine, if one wanted to use a larger filter. So for the HP-2009 filter the cost per filter when purchased in a 12-pack would be $8.17.

I paid $9.94 for the HP-2009 oil filter from Advance Auto Parts last week.

It isn't as cheap as Sci-Fi's link, but I want separate receipts for each oil change that I do for warranty purposes.

DT, funny you should mention that. I too want a receipt for each time I change the oil & filter and buy them right before the change is due and write the milage down on the receipt when I do the change. Buying a dozen filters at a time and writing down 12,000, 15,000, 18,000 (x 12) etc. on one receipt doesn't sound quite right.
