windshield washer pump

anyone had a problem with theirs not squirting or just barely putting out enough water to reach the windshield? I cleaned the jets, removed the pump and cleaned the intake screen on the pump end that goes in the tank...still no better. I looked to see if it could be taken apart but don't think it can without breaking it. called some parts stores and only appears there are universal pumps but they won't work. called Chrysler and they want $85 for that little sucker......anybody got any suggestions?

no need to reply, I was hoping for an answer/solution but ended up going to a junkyard and getting a used one

You called the wrong parts store haven't check at the parts train they have a high quality, direct fit OE replacement washer pump..

No replacement pump on this website. Why is the PT Cruiser pump so hard to find? Argh.

I have called every junk yard in town... not only are there no pumps, there are no PT Cruisers! Argh.
