Exhaust Systems

Anyone have recommendations on the best after market exhaust systems and/or mufflers. Looking for increase performance and good sound.

Lots of different systems to choose from. Got mine from JC Whitney..good fit, looks good. But loud. There's a site that lets you hear both a single and dual exhaust during idle and passing by. I got the Borla header and Borla cat-back dual exhaust from Race and Street (www.raceandstreet.com). The car at least seems noticably faster and it sounds nice but isn't really loud (had a chance to watch a family member drive off in my car today and couldn't hear it after a short distance). I'd recommend it, but if you have or intend to get the Bruizer kit or any other bumper cover type of change, be sure to get the bumper cover work done first, so the exhaust can be properly adjusted.

Hi. Race & Street here. We highly recommend the Bassnai dual exhaust. It has better features, better fit, and a tunable sound for the same cost as the Borla system. Borla is a good name in exhaust, but we sell about 30 Bassani's for every Borla we sell. We have not had a single complaint about the Bassani systems. Some people complain about Borla having rattles and being harder to install. The Bassani's are the way to go! You can go to http://www.raceandstreet.com to check them out.

Haqve had my Bassani's in place for at least six months and wouldn't change them for anything!
